Jessica E. Brown

Attorney Jessica E. Brown is an associate attorney at Nelson, Krueger & Millenbach, LLC. She is committed to helping clients with a variety of family law matters including divorce, paternity, restraining orders, and post-judgment issues relating to maintenance (alimony), child support, custody, and placement. Attorney Brown also accepts guardian ad litem appointments representing the best interests of minor children in pending family law cases.

Attorney Brown's passion for family law and helping others drives her representation of her clients. She understands that the family law process can be stressful, emotional, and expensive, and she strives to make the process as painless as possible for her clients. Attorney Brown believes in open and honest communication with clients about their case. This assists her clients in establishing realistic expectations and goals while Attorney Brown tirelessly advocates for her clients either by way of resolution or litigation.

Attorney Brown attended Marquette University where she graduated magna cum laude with an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Writing Intensive English and English Literature. She also earned her Juris Doctor degree from Marquette University Law School. While in law school, Attorney Brown dedicated her time at the Milwaukee Justice Center's family forms clinic and at the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic assisting pro se litigants with preparing family law-related documents. In recognition of her volunteer work with pro se litigants, she was inducted into the Pro Bono Honor Society at Marquette University Law School. She also built up an extensive family law background during law school while working at family law firms in the Milwaukee-area and interning at the Legal Aid Society of Milwaukee in their guardian ad litem division.

In addition to practicing law, Attorney Brown enjoys going up north, skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.

Attorney Brown is licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin and is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin.
